Before I get to droning on about how delightful this story was, I'd need to take a moment to say: please tighten up on the grammar and word choices. I see what you meant to say and while it didn't detract from the story, it made me stop momentarily to make sure I understood the context.Now, as far as this is is concerned? It's a wonderful story of first-time or gay-for-you love. Clay (the ever nervous lad) and Ezra (the out and proud) work so well together as they start to understand each other than all the running they've done when things usually didn't work out well. I wish there was more substance to prolong the story but it might have taken away from the magic of it all. It's more for my selfish reading pleasure to be honest. 🙈

This is a sweet story and I guess a second chance romance. Clay has only dated females in the past, but has been attracted to Ezra since high school. Clay finally has the courage to kiss Ezra, but does he have the courage to let everyone else know that he likes guys too?
The main characters sure were different from other M/M books I have read. I enjoyed this book a lot and would recommend this book. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
Ezra was probably one of the cutest main characters that I've read about in a very long time. His energy and optimism were so much fun to see. I didn't quite connect with Clay though. While I liked seeing his challenge with accepting his sexuality, I thought that the declaration of their love for one another didn't really have a solid enough foundation to be believable. I felt that the last half of the book felt a bit rushed because of it.
The book had 2132 locations on my kindle. The book was about 2 men, Ezra and Clay. Clay was a straight 29 year old fire fighter, with a girlfriend. Esra was a gay hair stylist. The book contained a couple of oral sex scenes and a so so anal sex scene near the end. The characters were ok, I guess. Clay was having sexy thoughts about Ezra, but but was afraid to admit, he was gay. Esra was out and proud, frustrated by Clay's fear of coming out of the closet. I wanted Clay to struggle more with his sexuality, before he realized he liked men. Overall a decent book.
This is a sweet, innocent story of two men who kind of take it slow while one of them works out his issues with being gay.
Clay has always wanted to be a firefighter, but he has this really strong association that being a firefighter means having to be heterosexual, and has a hard time changing his world view. He's an adorable musclehead. (It's kind of hard to understand why he is this way because the only homophobia in their small town is in his head, but he's just so earnest in his ignorance that I couldn't help liking him.)
Ezra appears to have been "out" in high school, but has never had serious relationships before either, so they are men in their late 20s but also pretty innocent in their love.
This is a light heartened sweet romance.
I loved this book so much. Ezra was sweet and patient while Clay tried to sort out his feelings. I started reading this book on a work night and struggled with the decision to put it down and get to sleep. I thought about these two sweet boys all day at work and couldn't wait to get home to read the rest of their story!
This book is well-written. I could really feel Clay's struggle and Ezra's fear. Grab a copy of this book today! You won't be disappointed!
This is a first-time-gay or gay-for-you or bisexual.... let's just call it <i>can't make up my mind</i>... romance. Ezra is a sexy and confident hairstylist (think out and proud) and Clay is an overly self-conscious, yet completely self-unaware, firefighter (think pretty but dumb). Ezra is disillusioned by city life and Clay has just been booted out of an emotionally stunted relationship that seems to be more of an afterthought than an integral part of the story. The author definitely sets them up to take a winding and significantly less traveled (for very good reasons) path to love.
